Air passengers have certain rights in case of unforeseen circumstances during their flight. They can exercise their legal rights in situations such as long delays, flight cancellations, overbooking, or loss and damage of baggage.
In the Republic of Moldova, air passenger rights are outlined in the Regulation on Compensation and Assistance for Passengers in the Event of Denied Boarding, Flight Cancellation, or Long Delays, approved by Government Decision No. 836 of November 8, 2012.
