The mission of the International Cooperation and Media Communication Section is to promote the image of the Civil Aviation Authority both domestically and internationally by ensuring transparent and effective communication with the public and the media, as well as by strengthening cooperative relations with international specialized organizations in the field of civil aviation.
The section's activity focuses on representing the institution in relation to international organizations such as ICAO, EASA, ECAC, and other relevant structures, as well as coordinating the Republic of Moldova's participation in meetings, conferences, and international projects in the field of civil aviation.
At the same time, the section is responsible for managing bilateral agreements and cooperation protocols, ensuring official communication and the exchange of information with external partners. Furthermore, the section manages relations with the media and develops informational materials and public communication campaigns aimed at promoting passenger rights, the CAA's activity, and relevant news in the civil aviation sector.
Another area of responsibility for the section is the authorization of regular, charter, and business flights in accordance with national legislation and the Republic of Moldova's international commitments.
The section also performs the function of oversight and coordination in the field of Facilitation of Air Transport (FAL), ensuring the implementation of international standards regarding accessibility, passenger protection, and the streamlining of airport transit processes.
Through its activity, the section contributes to strengthening institutional transparency and increasing the level of public awareness and trust in aviation services.
