The registration of aircraft in the Aircraft Registry of the Republic of Moldova is carried out based on the requirements of the Regulation on the Registration of Civil Aircraft and the Administration of the Aircraft Registry of the Republic of Moldova, approved by Government Decision No. 473/2023

Aircraft Register of the Republic of Moldova

In order to register an aircraft, the applicant shall submit to the Civil Aviation Authority, in person or through an authorized representative, the following documents:

application for registration;
document that confirms the ownership of the aircraft, in original or certified copy;
contract regarding the lease of the aircraft (documents confirming the right of possession and use), if the applicant is not the owner of the aircraft, in original or certified copy;
written consent of the owner for registration, in original, if the registration of the aircraft is requested by the owner;
acceptance statement of the aircraft, in original or certified copy;
extract from the Register of Legal Entities (or equivalent), if the applicant is a foreign legal entity;
copy of the identity document for applicants – foreign physical person;
the certificate of deregistration or other document, in original or copy, issued by the civil aviation authority of that state, confirming that the aircraft has been deregistered from the register of that state;
a copy of the type certificate or other valid equivalent document, if it is not issued, accepted or validated by the CAA;
a copy of the noise certificate and of the certificate confirming compliance with the requirements regarding gas emissions (or other equivalent documents), if they exist for the respective type of aircraft and/or are not included in the type certificate;
a copy of the airworthiness document valid on the date of filing the application for registration;
a valid export airworthiness certificate or other equivalent document; 13) a diagram of the arrangement of nationality and registration marks.
