Certification / Supervision of Aeronautical Agents

COMMERCIAL AIR TRANSPORT


To obtain an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by CAA, the aviation agent will provide and consider the economic and financial information mentioned in:

  1. ORO. AOC. 100 Request for an Air Operator Certificate according to “Regulation on the establishment of technical requirements and administrative procedures for air operations”, approved by Government Decision no. 612 from 01.09.2022.

  2. AMC – Acceptable means of compliance – Recommended structure for the business plan for air operators.

              AMC is placed in the section Legal Framework/AMC.

 

CAA evaluates the financial results of an air operator to whom an Air Operator Certificate has been granted by requesting the relevant information stipulated in:

  1. Article 11, paragraph (5) of the Air Code no. 301 from 21.12.2017 (Official Monitor no. 95-104/189 from 23.03.2018).

  2. ARO.GEN.302 Economic supervision of the holder of an air operator certificate and the holder of an authorization for specialized commercial operations according to “Regulation on the establishment of technical requirements and administrative procedures for air operations”, approved by Government Decision no. 612 from 01.09.2022.

  3. PIAC-OPS Procedures “Procedures and Instructions for Civil Aviation to conduct air operations”, concerning continuous economic-financial supervision.

The continuous economic-financial supervision program is based on assessing the risks associated with each aviation agent and is carried out by the Economic Supervision and Financial Management Department based on normative acts, including subordinate technical documents, as well as internal procedures approved for executing the requirements.

 

AIRWORK OPERATIONS


The process of certification and economic-financial supervision for an air operator wishing to conduct airwork operations is described in Part SPO of the PIAC-OPS procedures “Procedures and Instructions for Civil Aviation to conduct air operations.”
