International Seminar on Risk Assessment Related to the Mental and Physical Health of Aeronautical Personnel

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova is hosting an important International Seminar on Risk Assessment Related to the Mental and Physical Health of Aeronautical Personnel from October 16-18. The event is organized under the auspices of the European Commission, through the TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange) project, in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova and the Academy of the European Society of Aerospace Medicine (ESAM-Academy).

The workshop has brought together in Chișinău representatives of international civil aviation organizations and experts from over ten countries worldwide, both from the East and the West. These renowned specialists will share advanced methods of assessment, treatment, and risk management related to the health of aeronautical personnel, contributing to the safety of flight operations.

The main objective of this event is to provide training and support for implementing European legislation on aeronautical personnel health, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experience in managing mental and physical health issues on a global scale. The seminar focuses on developing support programs for pilots, air operators, and air navigation service providers to ensure flight safety.

Special attention is given to Peer Support Programs designed for civil aviation personnel, which strengthen their ability to cope with mental and physical health challenges while maintaining high safety standards in international aviation.
