The Civil Aviation Authority supports the national afforestation initiative for a sustainable future.

As part of the tree-planting campaign launched by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova and the "Moldsilva" Agency, under the aegis of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the team of the Civil Aviation Authority enthusiastically joined afforestation efforts. Today, over ten thousand acacia saplings were planted by the CAA team on the 3 hectares provided by the Cimișlia State Forestry and Hunting Enterprise, ZLOȚI Forest District.

This autumn’s afforestation campaign aims to plant 4,000 hectares of forest, in addition to the 3,300 hectares already planted in the spring of this year.

In total, the campaign targets planting over 26 million saplings of species such as oak, ash, acacia, and maple, contributing to climate change mitigation and biodiversity protection. The planting activities will continue throughout November.

The Civil Aviation Authority strongly supports this initiative, mobilizing its employees for tree-planting activities.
