ICAO Facility Conference Conference

Between 14–17 April 2025, the delegation of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova participated in the ICAO Facilitation Conference, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and hosted by the State of Qatar, in the capital Doha.

The event brought together representatives of civil aviation authorities from around the world, as well as from international organizations and the aviation industry, with the main objective of promoting best practices and international standards on air transport facilitation, with a focus on passenger protection, streamlining border control, digitizing airport processes, and ensuring accessibility for all.

The participation of the Republic of Moldova’s delegation in this high-level international forum reflects our country’s commitment to the implementation of ICAO standards and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of civil aviation. The discussions held and experiences shared during the conference will contribute to the ongoing modernization of the national aviation sector and the improvement of services offered to passengers.

The CAA reaffirms its openness to actively collaborate with international partners and to support ICAO initiatives in the areas of facilitation, security, and sustainability of civil aviation.
