The Steering Committee Meeting of the Eastern Partnership Project

The Civil Aviation Authority is hosting today, November 20, the Steering Committee Meeting of the Eastern Partnership Project.

The project, implemented with the support of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), aims to transpose and implement the European regulatory framework in the Eastern Partnership countries. The beneficiaries of this program are the Civil Aviation Authorities of the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia.

During the meeting, an assessment of the activities carried out in 2024 was presented, which included a series of workshops, on-the-job training (OJT) programs, and institutional evaluation visits. These activities aimed to strengthen the capacity of personnel within the aviation authorities and contributed to a better understanding and application of EU legislation in civil aviation.

Additionally, a detailed work plan for 2025 was agreed upon, which includes further training, exchange of experience, and other activities aimed at improving the quality of oversight of aviation stakeholders.
