Greeting Message on the occasion of Civil Servant’s Day

Dear colleagues,

Established by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in 2012, taking into account the decision of the UN General Assembly, June 23 was declared a professional holiday – “Civil Servant’s Day”, as a way to recognize the importance and role of civil servants in society.

This date was not chosen at random – in 2002, the UN General Assembly designated June 23 as the United Nations Public Service Day.

Today, over 45,000 individuals are employed in Moldova’s public administration, of which 68 civil servants work within the Civil Aviation Authority. The prestige of public service and of the civil servant is vital for citizens’ trust in state institutions and their image.

Dear colleagues, on the occasion of Civil Servant’s Day, we extend our warmest wishes for health, well-being, and success. We thank you for the professionalism, responsibility, and rigor with which you carry out your mission.

Let us continue to act with dedication, objectivity, and integrity, contributing to the consolidation of a modern and efficient public administration, in the service of the citizen.
