The mission of the International Cooperation and Media Communication Section is to promote the image of the Civil Aviation Authority both domestically and internationally, by ensuring transparent and effective communication with the public and the media, as well as by strengthening cooperation with international organizations in the field of civil aviation.
The International Cooperation and Media Communication Section has the following responsibilities:
Representing the institution within international organizations (ICAO, EASA, ECAC, etc.), as well as coordinating the participation of the Republic of Moldova in international meetings, conferences, and projects in the field of civil aviation.
Initiating, negotiating, and monitoring bilateral agreements and collaboration protocols, ensuring official communication and information exchange with foreign partners.
Authorizing regular and non-regular flights, including charter and business flights, in accordance with the applicable national legislation and the international commitments of the Republic of Moldova.
Supervising and coordinating the field of air transport facilitation (FAL), ensuring the implementation of international standards regarding accessibility, passenger protection, and the streamlining of airport procedures.
Managing relations with the media and preparing informational materials and public communication campaigns aimed at promoting the activities of the Civil Aviation Authority, passenger rights, the development of the aviation sector in the Republic of Moldova, and other relevant updates.
