To holders of flight/ cabin crew members licenses, as well as for approved training organizations for aeronautical personnel:
1. The Civil Aviation Authority informs you that the “Regulation establishing the technical requirements and administrative procedures for civil aviation flight crew” (hereinafter referred Regulation) was approved by Government Decision no. 204 of 25.03.2020 with entry into force on 10.07.2021.
The regulation transposes the provisions of EU Regulation no. 1178/2011, the purpose being the implementation of European standards for the establishment of technical requirements and administrative procedures for civil aviation air crew.
For the purpose of implementing the Regulation, CAA is in the process of developing Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC), Guidance Materials (GM) and Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions – Air crew Certification (PIAC-CPN), which will published for public consultation prior to approval, in accordance with the applicable normative framework, on the official web page of the CAA (http://www.caa.md/eng/consultations/ ).
2. The Civil Aviation Authority informs you of the entry into force of the Order on the approval of Civil Aeronautical Procedures and Instructions "PIAC - Requirements and provisional procedures for the conversion of national pilot certificates and recognition of pilot licenses issued by member states of the International Civil Aviation Organization" no. 06 / GEN of 23.02.2021 published on the official website of the CAA in the Regulatory Framework / PIAC section (http://www.caa.md/files/2021_03/1658.pdf ) , available in romanian language.
3. The Civil Aviation Authority informs you that in order to establish implementation of the Regulation, for May 2021 it is planned to organize a meeting with the representatives of the aviation agents responsible for aircrew training, who will be notified in advance.
