ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT

National test - English Language Proficiency (ELP) |

English language proficiency assessment tests are conducted by examiners approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), within the CAA. The candidate may request an assessment of English language proficiency in accordance with: National test - English Language Proficiency (ELP), for pilots and air traffic controllers. • To familiarize yourself with the conduct and structure of the language proficiency assessment test for pilots access: English Language Proficiency for PICs. • To familiarize yourself with the conduct and structure of the language proficiency assessment test for air traffic control access: English Language Proficiency for ATCO. |

SCHEDULE OF ELP TEST |

The language proficiency assessment sessions in English will take place on Mondays and Thursdays. For English language proficiency assessment, the applicant shall submit to CAA the following:
1. For pilots: English language proficiency application form. 2. For air traffic controllers: English language proficiency application form.
The applicant will submit the form no later than 5 days before the planned date of assessment test.
The applicant will contact PEL examiners, by e-mail or telephone, about the exact date and time of the assessment test.

CAA accepts ELPAC certificates issued by EUROCONTROL. For this purpose applicants submit to CAA the following:

RE-EVALUATION OF THE CANDIDATE |

If the candidate has failed to take the English language proficiency test, the provisions of p. 3.4.10 of the Manual on the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ICAO language proficiency requirements) approved by the CAA shall be applied.
